Located just outside Dublin city centre, our second Irish office will be home to our rapidly expanding project delivery and sales team.

As a result of continued significant growth and European expansion, AVK are pleased to announce the new addition of a dedicated European Projects Hub to our portfolio of facilities.

Located just outside Dublin city centre, our second Irish office will be home to our rapidly expanding Project delivery and Sales team serving our clients across a number of our European sites, allowing us to expand our existing facility into a dedicated service and engineering depot.

An increasing number of our large-scale clients are coming to us to continue our work with them outside of the UK. As our European footprint continues to grow, along with our reputation as the leading provider of critical power solutions, AVK will continue to deliver innovative, resilient and sustainable solutions wherever their location. The addition of this new, second facility in Ireland also ensures we maintain our current strategic service depot for our growing list of local clients.

With Ireland as the gateway to the EU, our new European Projects Hub will provide us with a place to welcome our clients not just from Ireland but further afield. More importantly, it offers our European Projects Team with a collaboration space and room to grow along with our ambitious expansion plans.

The addition of this new workspace also enables us to expand our existing Dublin facility into a larger, dedicated service hub and engineering depot, giving AVK an enormous competitive advantage in terms of our localised service capabilities.

“Our European Projects Team has been growing at an astonishing rate, in line with the growth of the global data centre market. AVK have dominated our industry across the UK and Ireland, and of course we’ll continue to deliver large-scale critical power projects using more and more innovative and sustainable solutions. In the last two years alone we’ve delivered more than 600MW of power to sites across Europe, and with more and more of our clients approaching us to deliver further afield, the new dedicated Projects Hub for Europe couldn’t come at a better time”.
Shane Lennon, AVK’s European Operations Director

CCHP: The Technology Allowing for Enhanced Energy Efficiency

CCGT (Combined Cycle Gas Turbines) have widely been accepted as the BAT (Best Available Technique) for large-scale embedded generation. With the recently released emissions drivers from the Environment Agency, there is increasing need for new, emerging technologies for a higher efficiency rating. That solution could be Combined Cooling, Heat and Power (CCHP).
