Where insight meets power - AVK launches our newsletter, The Power of Insight.

AVK branded stand

The data centre industry (and the energy solutions that power it), is a world you have to stay on top of. Developments are fast moving and the industry can sometimes find that it isn’t depicted in the way we want it to be. That’s where The Power of Insight comes in. AVK will be reporting on power news through an expert lens, providing monthly insights from professionals, customers, and partners we’re proud to have on board. Each month, from those most immersed in the industry, you can expect industry commentary, news, and community. Welcome to The Power of Insight. We hope you enjoy.

 – Ben Pritchard, CEO

This is exactly why we launched The Power of Insight.

We hit 1,000 subscribers in the first two hours. Nearly 2,000 in less than 24 hours. That tells us something: there’s genuine appetite for smart, accessible content about the power infrastructure that keeps data centres running.

This newsletter is part of AVK’s long-term branding and content strategy. Not one dominant channel doing all the heavy lifting, but many repeatable exposures across a mix of channels: LinkedIn, industry media, billboards, video, podcasts and now a newsletter. Lots of little things, done consistently, that add up to something meaningful. Each channel plays a small role. Together, they build familiarity, trust, and a clearer narrative for the industry.

In this first issue, we’ve covered our top four industry predictions for 2026, from the rising urgency for independent power supplies and optimising microgrid fuel mixes, to the surge in M&A activity driven by grid constraints. We’ve broken down recent Irish legislation on large energy users, highlighted our 25-year partnership with Rolls-Royce Power Systems, and showcased Landmark Power Holdings’ operational carbon capture plant in the UK. There’s also the latest episode of Generating Conversation with Lynsey Partlow and Jake Burrows talking AVK Academy, plus a quick myth-buster on data centre misconceptions.

Our intention is simple. To make The Power of Insight a useful, credible reference point for anyone trying to understand where energy and data centres are heading.

Just another “little thing.” But an important one.
